ASM CEO/COACH IS HAPPY FOR HIS TEAM
ASM CEO HAPPY FOR HIS TEAM
One good thing about proper training is that it will make you feel better when showcasing what you trained for. It is always nice to find out your problem and solve it without delay. When you fall, find out the reason and pick yourself up. Work on your fault and fix yourself back to your normal person. It is the same case as we showed our talents during this friendly match between Smart FC and Al-Ahmadi Football Academy.
According to the new coach, Smart F.C. has a home advantage anytime we are playing matches and always shows us their talents regarding senior players. Counting how many goals we normally conceived during any match with their under-15 or under-17 players is hard. They have the numbers and know how to deal with us until we can figure out how to come out of such a situation.
I understand my job very well as a coach, I love all my players and know how to fix them to win a match, i need at least 25 players to prepare for each category but you can see we need more than 15 players to meet up for any match.
We can defeat Smart F.C. under 15 players today because the boys are determined to win and they work correctly as a team. Introducing a new play pattern also helped the team, normally I let the players choose their roles but I told them to work as a team this time. Having a stronger striker who did nice work for our young academy helped the team to win at the end of the day.
Our striker is the man of the match for me, he did the job and got his goal as well as pushing the team back to their home. We have good wingers that can score anytime, they did not fail to display that as we scored two goals from wings, they are still young and have quality play and love to play as well.
I feel happy today as a coach, not because I won Smart but because watching my boys doing nice work inside the field showed we are getting there. This is the first we won their under 15 since I started coaching but that is the deal, we must always improve and get things right, said the Anny Sports Management CEO who doubled as Al-Ahmadi football academy coach.
On Sunday 12, January 2025, Smart FC hosted their counterpart Al-Ahmadi Football Academy for their Community derby. It is always a special day for the people in the community and football lovers in Joma. Many people came in their numbers to witness the match.
During under-11 teams, both sides showed their strong talent as they both failed to find the back of the net, it is always nice to such a side playing because the kids know themselves and they love to play together. Al-Ahmadi Football Academy has yet to lose any match for the past months as they are always training together and improving their talents. Their team management is doing their best to develop the kids to be useful to their families as well as the community in general.
The under-13 team didn't end well for the Al-Ahmadi football academy as one of their strong defenders got injured which took him out of play. Before the incident, Smart FC was leading two goals to one, it is normal to stop playing to respect the injured players so the match ended 2-1 in favor of Smart FC.
It is the final match of the day as both teams under 15 players kicked off the match, it is nice to watch them playing as they know how quickly smart can get the work done. Al-Ahmadi Football Academy took the lead in five minutes before Smart FC equaled the goal in 12 minutes.
Al-Ahmadi Football Academy scored in 22 minutes to take another lead before Smart scored again. It was before the end of the match that Al-Ahmadi showed their talent by scoring 3 goals to stay on top of their game.
After the game, both teams displayed sportsmanship, greeted each other, and ended the day well. It is always nice to play derby and even though Smart FC failed to show their top game Al-Ahmadi showed more playing possession.
The CEO of Al-Ahmadi was present to support the team he founded in 2017, and the CEO of Anny Sports Management showed his support for his team and organized his side well before the match.
After the match, Ah-Ahmadi Coach, Stephen Anny Ogudu who is CEO of Anny Sports Management congratulated his players and told them to keep the winning spirit going. We are returning to training on Tuesday, and we have to get ready for another task ahead, it is going to be an away match for the team and we must continue to keep our heads high, training, and keep the winning going.
